In the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahamed Al Qassimi, head of Sharjah Media Council and under the motto ” Our gathering is different in Ramadan nights”, the internationally renowned – Emirati Nasheed artist \ Ahmed Bukhatir, the Ambassador of Creative Science, delivered a speech in the meeting of Ramadan Majlis that was organized by Sharjah Press Club of Sharjah Government Information Office, which were held under the title of ” Nasheed signing….Influence and Art”. During the meeting, Bukhatir spoke about how to highlight the committed and meaningful art and its influence on the audience from the ethical and human aspects, in the presence of the Egyptian Nasheed artist \ Mahmoud Al Tohami and the Moroccan Nasheed artist \ Yaseen Lashhab who also delivered speeches alongside of him and H.E. Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansoury, the Secretary General of Sharjah Media Council who facilitated the dialogue.
During the meeting, Bukhatir stressed the importance of the support rendered by H.H Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, the member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah, to Nasheed singing as one the purposeful arts that enhance and establish the Islamic values. He also appreciated the efforts exerted by Sharjah Emirate to promote the status of Nasheed singing art, through the organization of events and specialized contests that serve this aspect, such as ” Sharjah’s Nasheed Singer Competition”.
The internationally renowned, Emirati Nasheed artist, who was titled by the meeting interlocutor as ” The Emirati Ambassador of Nasheed”, indicated that through his experiences of performing a number of Nasheed concerts in many European countries and through singing Nasheeds in English and French; he found that the West yearns for the meaningful Islamic art that establishes the Islamic values. He also emphasized that the internet and the various social media have contributed to the spread of this type of art and the introduction of its diversified topics that address the religious and human spiritualities.
At the end of this meeting, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi honored the Nasheed artist \ Ahmed Bukhatir for his role in conveying this art to the world, in addition to his effective, important participation in this Ramadan meeting.
It is worth mentioning that Ahmed Bukhatir released, concurrently with Ramadan month, the Nasheed “Its breezes have blown- Ramadan 2018” in a video clip, via his official Youtube page and all Arab and international radio stations. The Nasheed lyrics were written by the poet \ Omar Al Saqaf, melodies by Bukhatir himself and the sound engineering by Hussam Saleh. The Nasheed was filmed in a charitable, humanitarian theme in conformity with his permanent mission in his works and activities. The video clip is directed by Abdul Rahman Kendo, under the management and supervision of Fadi Tolbi.
